The thumbnails are there to give you a preview of each wallpaper, and to the right are links to full sized versions! (the Mac version simply has the art on the other side so as not to interfere with the icons)
They're all in JPG format, and so on most browsers, you can simply load up the full scale version, right click on it, and choose 'set as wallpaper'. (or something similar)
