Corlis tends to keep out of the action, considering himself more of a condescending bystander than an active participant, enjoying any opportunity to make a cutting remark or witty retort at the expense of others.

He's generally a thoughtful, observant and analytical dragon, and while he's often quiet he has no qualms making himself heard the moment he feels he has something to say. He's confident and forthright, and his careful mind means his convictions are rarely challenged.

He excels in delivering sarcasm with a straight face, deeply savours a suitably ironic twist, and has a rather keen sense of humour, which actually transfers very badly to his occasional attempts at standup comedy which he persists at more out of a sense of masochism than any practical considerations.

He's best friends with his brother Lemuel, who compliments his cynical rationalism with his boundless enthusiasm for life. Corlis is also technically Moppy's owner, and while very much not a cat kind of dragon, has grown used to the little white kitten, and has come to care for him in his own matter of fact style way.

While Corlis has a tendency to come off dry and uncaring, it's generally just a demeanour, and when things are important, Corlis is always looking out for his siblings, particularly Lemuel.
