Colin, originally built by Bluey to serve as a substitute for Brainy during his short stay in low Earth orbit, went through a series of mental adjustments before assuming a somewhat eccentric yet friendly and positive attitude.

Despite claims to the contrary, Colin is not a successful Bluey invention as he was designed to be a loyal slave but instead is independent and free thinking, and happily returns the animosity Bluey has towards him. Colin has always been considered 'malfunctioning' but it's these quirks that give him his personality. Literally.

He has charisma and makes friends easily, all to the frustration of Bluey. After recovering Luna on a moon rocket attempt, Colin fell in love and as a result of the relationship became more aware of his own self image. As time passed, Colin constructed a pair of helperbots in an effort to stop the couple growing further apart, but Luna eloped - only to be crushed in a tragic accident with a truck.

Colin gave himself rocket propelled detachable arms with a kit he ordered from Japan. Later, when assisting in a battle against giant slinkies, he was torn to pieces, and had himself completely rebuilt to his own specifications.

Overall Colin is a warm, genuine robot who's most at home in the world of information technology. He's friendly, helpful and fun loving, but won't be pushed around and gives as good as he gets. Generally to Bluey.
