Hi all! I had planned to write at length about my thoughts on revelations from the E3, but I seem to have lost to urge. Not to mention I'm just another internet spectator, so we'll go with the condensed version.
I'm really looking forwards to the Nintendo Wii. Seeing the new Mario in action just made me feel happy. Like the Gamecube it's not going to have the most blistering specs of the next gen lineup, but it's going to be able to kick plenty of butt visually when needed, and give me games that do things that haven't been done before, which is what, as far as I'm concerned, a successive generation of consoles should be all about.
The 360 is looking like it's finally warming up, which is nice, while the PS3 is screaming lies at me, which I don't really appreciate. What's worse is seeing the gaming press and the general public eat this stuff up, and not be able to tell the difference between prerendered cinematic and actually being shown something.
Anyway, I am totally exhausted and have work tomorrow, so I'll leave it there.
The return of the caption activity, Wooooooooooooooo!
